Levelling up in Skinning

Well, I'd just make one grinding session in Nagrand (prime source for leather) for a ton of Knothide, to get LW up to speed. Don't buy them as they will be expensive (ppl don't collect them anymore).

Of course, questing in Northrend, Skinning and selling Borean Leather might turn out to be better in cost..

I can use his flying mount to go around Outlands and skin Knothide like mad (it's going to be some time before he can work in Borean) and craft like mad too to level him up in Leatherworking. Then, with some time and effort, he can do both in Northrend. And I'll keep checking the AH because sometimes you do find things put on really cheaply by someone who doesn't know or doesn't care.
