Follow me level to 80!

Hey, so I recently started a blog, where you can follow me as I level to 80. It includes pics of daily changes in stats, and all that good stuff. Also includes quests, and guides, as well as maps. Updated daily.

The link is legit, no gold selling adverts either. I'll let Maticus decide whether she wants to keep it or not, after all it is still advertising. Got to say that it is pretty boring, mostly some screenshots and copy-pasted quest information from a DB site. Don't think I'll be able to follow it until he's 80.

I'm just giving my honest-to-God opinion, I thought that's what you were asking for. If you can't handle the criticism, don't post the link.

I figured you could derive my suggestions from my comments: try to make it more compelling, even story-like. Now it is basically a summary of the quests you have done, and trust me, people have done these multiple times. There's nothing there that makes me want to follow your adventures, if I want a description of the quests I'll look them up or start an Orc myself.

Sorry I sound harsh, but that's my two cents. I am also annoyed by your overly defensive reply. Be glad I didn't remove the link in the first place, as it actually breaks our advertising rule.

Ok..I'll try with some suggestions.
As Snow said...most people have run these quests a time or three...so don't bother listing out all the quest dialogue and the reward options.

Why not just link the name of the quest (that way if someone REALLY wants all the details they can look it up) and then summarize it in your own words?

"Arrrgh...Captian Meathook wants me to swim back out to his sunken ship AGAIN !! Why didn't he tell me to grab the tool box when I went in for his journal? Oh well...he gave me this really nice leather belt. Smells a bit like fish and rum though."

Or maybe summarize by zones?

"Today I killed 47 zebras, 83 hyenas and 63 sickly deer. Durator is really going to start smelling by noon tomorrow. I'm taking my new <link> boots and cloak and heading for Thunderbluff before the SPCA catches up to me."

Put things in your own words and from your perspective. That's what blogs are for.
