will WoW be filled with morons?

Title's pretty self explanatory, from someone well fluent in the horrors of Battle.net I can safetly say out of most games blizzard attracts usually the most idiotic, stupid, racist, anti-semetic/american/french/gays, backstabbing retards out there. While every game has these people they're usually at a tolerate level. From the closed beta and stress test there doesn't seem to be too big of a problem but when millions of players playing well.... you never know.

I've seen plenty of ninja looters, ninja miners, ninja skinners, people 10 levels above you outright ignore your cries for help as 5 horde your level chase you, people who once completing their quest just quit....

Hopefully the Monthy fee will weed most of these *****es out, but one can only see. For sure, Open Beta will be worse than retail by quite a bit, but until retail actually arrives, we can only hope.

It's a Blizzard game and WoW was tailor made for those gamers that you so despise. Don't read too hard into that either.

With any game there are going to be morons but you can't group people just by past games or because they weren't in the beta...

I was in the xbox live beta and we all thought we would be flooded by cheaters... well, we were but we also met alot of good players.

I give people like that a couple months before they quit. MMORPGs arent really made for such attitudes and blizzard does have some nice policies which, with the communities help, can keep the b.net kiddies at bay.

I would agree with things mentioned above. Open beta will probably be somewhat disappointing. The monthly fee should get rid of some of the younger fellows that may not have access to credit cards. Not that all 18 and above year olds are mature, but you see what I am getting at.
I would also assume that the community would mature and get better as people that may not be so dedicated, decide to quit.

b.net kiddy = someone who is (to quote the thread starter) "idiotic, stupid, racist, anti-semetic/american/french/gays, backstabbing retards". To me its never mattered the age but the attitude.

other than that I dont see what could be considered stereotyping,

There will be plenty of dedicated scuzz because of pvp and the fact that WoW will be a fun game. Yeah, I don't really mind because I've developed an excellent filter. You can only be griefed if you feel grief...or some such psycho-babble. :-p

Yes there will be, it is inevitable. However, I think a more important question is how will blizzard fans convert to WoW players. The average w3 and d2 player does not seem to me as the kind of person you want playing a mmorpg, but that could just be me being cynical.
