Are you wanting to specialize in higher leatherworking, like dragonscale, tribal, etc? If so, the lady in feralas is the wrong npc. You need to decide what path you want to take and talk to that npc.

Not positive but you might have to be lvl 55. I know the quest she gives is a lvl 55 quest...

You first need to complete the Wild Leather quests Pratt McGrubben offers (leatherworking supplier in Feathermoon) to see the quest for Tribal leatherworking.

FYI, to complete the quests you will need 192 thick leather, 7 wildvine, 112 turtle scales, and a pattern that has a 1 in 1,000 drop rate (turtle scale gloves)...so it's best to start browsing the auction house right away.

Once you are done with those you will need another 22 thick leather, 4 wildvine and 2 thick hides to do the Tribal leatherworking quest.
