Lightbulb REQUEST: Please add sorting and reputation

Please add sorting options to query results. For example, the query results for quests are listed in alphabetical order which is much less useful than quest level order.

Also, if you really want to do something new and different, add reputation gained with each and every faction and allow us to search by factions to find quests that will give that reputation. For example, specifying "Gadgetzan" would list all quests (modified by the other search criteria) for which reputation is gained with Gadgetzan.

Thanks,
Tom

Hm, I like the Reputation idea. But that would mean we would have to log all the Factions somehow as well. When I have solved the Killcount thing and the other things which are pending for me, I might have a look at the reputation gained for quests and see if there is a way to catch that.

Regards,

Annunaki

List sorting is on the list to do .. its not particularly high priority at the moment but we'll get around to it eventually.

Quest reputation rewards may be put in when we finish the quest stuff ( ie rewards, items required etc). At some point we may introduce current character reputation but it depends on how much extra information this adds to the SavedVariables file.

Talking thanks

Thanks guys, that would be so awsome. Absolutely no one does reputation queries now and it would be such a great help to us all.

I hit revered with the thorium brotherhood so being able to brag about that somehow would be really nice. why can't I just open up the reputation window once to get it to log?

I'm not a coder so excuse my ignorance.

Because that unfortunatly is not how it works. Every single piece of information in your SavedVariables (log) file is put there by a mod, its used a temporary storage mechanism so that mods can reinitialise in a similar state next time you start WOW menu bars etc are in the same place.

We use it dump information out to.. which requires coding.
