I concur, I have been sitting in que forever, with the estmated time being univalibe and not changing. No one in the 40's is not coming to WSG any more.
has anyone gotten into one being under level 40 since patch 1.7?
On the server I am on, Blackhand.. I have signed up every day, and put up with the gongs, every day...
but good lord, 50 hours in waiting! not one battleground!
I believe it's just that there are not enough horde players to do one, but.. I can't prove it. Unless some of you can help? :)

Wait until the novelty of AB dies down, and WSG will be back in the game...heh (I am presuming that you refer to WSG as BG, although AB is also a BG, IMHO)

I play alliance, and in the general chat in SW and IF, there are more than enough people trying to get in for a match. no where near as many as it used to be, but more than enough for a match.
On saturday morning i signed up and was placed in the queue.......11 hours later nothing!
Sunday morning signed up and was placed in a queue......7 hours later nothing!
Sunday evening logged on...was asked to join a raid group....joined the group, was given the message whether to join the battle or hide pressed join and guess what ...nothing!
I then asked in raid chat why this happened and guess what the answer was....i was too low level to go in with them (lvl 32 Dwarf Hunter).....no apologies nothing.

To answer the lvl's in question.. While waiting on BG's I do a constant /who check of everyone under lvl 50 for Horde side on Blackhand.. absolutely no one is in a battleground.
I have tried to join AB and WSG both, unfortunatly, nothing is going on!
I have yet to try putting together a group of 10 to see if Alliance have players waiting, but seeing as it is 4:1 alliance:horde, then there might be a chance.

I doubt WSG will ever be back in business. Horde has a huge advantage in WSG because of Shaman (mainly ghostwolf form but also general pvp excellence) and hence win a lot more games than Alliance. With Arathi Basin things seem much more even (Shaman advantage not so great here) - I have played 17 times in AB with 9 Alliance wins and 8 Horde wins. I seriously doubt if enough Alliance will sign up to WSG for horde to ever get a game because of this.
That's just Alliance FUD :) Shamen do not have a marked advantage apart from perhaps in the 20-29 bounding. Druids have travel form at 30, and hunters have aspect of the cheetah at 20.
I've never played an instance where Ghost Wolf has made a marked improvment. If the Alliance team is any good, the wolf will be dead before they leave the base. If not, they should be dead by the time they get across the battleground because a priest can't keep up with them either. You should get enough dazes off to cause the flag to drop.
The best way to win WSG is a Warrior / Priest combo working as a single group by themselves. The rest of the raid runs a distraction force, filling the screen up with bodies while the warrior grabs the flag. The warrior is easy to spot, but the priest isn't. Hang in the middle (or even better, off to the side behind a tree or something) and heal the warrior from nowhere. By the time the Alliance find the priest, or are even able to hit him long enough for the shield to go down, the warrior is already gone.
EDIT: Back on topic, WSG seems fine to me, but Arathi Basin has not had one instance open in the 20-29 boundary all weekend.

So you have gotten in!!! sweet. That's what I was looking for. Seriously there has not been any BG's going on at any of them on my server. I was even wondering if they were broken at times lol. (for under 50 of course)
Or, I assume you have been in WSG?
Maybe I should get a group of 10 together and test this out.
