Umm.. not a Win32 file? can't open install-file.

probably because it's a 0 byte file.

this is only true about the 'Get the Client' Link though.. if I restart wwndu I get the whole installfile.

Hi Wall,

Could you send your Data File and the QuestCache.WDB file to wwndata@worldofwar.net ? I'll check it out and see what's happening.

The QuestCache file can be found in the WDB folder within your WoW Install directory and the DataFile should be in the WTF/Account/<YourAccount>/SavedVariables/ folder within the WoW Install directory.

Thanks in advance,

Annunaki

Still having problems uploading, but now after getting 1.7.0.3 I actually get an error message instead of the email write dialogue.

I disable all addons except the WWN Exporter addon (to remove the possibility of addons conflicting with the data exporting), exit the game (and delete the WTF\Account\xxxx\SavedVariables\wownetexport.lua file) and start the game and log into the chars I want to upload. Then I exit game afterwards and hit Upload Now in the rightclick menu in the system tray.

I get a window popping up saying it is performing a character reset and then begins uploading. But the upload is interrupted with an error.

I get the following error message:
"error in msg parsing:
XML error parsing SOAP payload on line 570: unclosed token."

Subsequent "Upload now" reproduces that error every time, but the line number cycles between 4-5 different line numbers each time at random.

Yep, I'm having similar problems. Well, exact to be honest :)

Hi,

As mentioned before the SOAP or XML errors have nothing to do with the Client but more with the server. Those errors can occur during high load periods on the server, or a bad connection with the server. At the moment there is nothing I can do about it. I will be investigating it in detail though and maybe try to come up with an alternative.

I have the exact same errors sometimes. And when I do have them, it might require 5 triest before the file gets uploaded successfully.

Regards,

Annunaki

Site displays wrong data

Hi there Annunaki,

first of all i'd like to state that the work your doing is brilliant. This is exactly what i've suggested to blizzard the hour i first played WoW.
To be able to see your character data online is a very usefull feature, and also very sociable... i always show my friends what i got new... and stuff...
Love it !

there's only one strange thing going on. I downloaded the new version yesterday, but problem still persists. When i log onto the site, i get to see the newest data uploaded the night before... almost as accurate as possible.
When my friends log onto the site, they see older data. I wonder how this could happen. It cant be cashing... is it a loadbalancing problem, or something with batch processing ?

Is your own user data different from the ones published into the public viewable data?

Is there something i can do to make my data more accurate?

Also my friend uploaded 2 characters yesterday, and 1 is showing the newest data when she logs on, but the other doesnt. When i check her chars, i see both in old data...

All seems pretty strange to me...

It would really help me when u could make the updating and uploading a bit more clear to me...

Hope to hear from you... and keep up the good work !!

Greetz from Holland

Maghestriuss / Enhormuss / etc.. / etc...
