Black and white 2

Is this game worth getting? I enjoyed the first one, but in honesty it bored me to tears after the 3rd month :uhhuh: I'm hearing lots of good stuff about it but really no-ones given me any good info on the game, just that its pretty buggy at the moment.

So a few questions.
  • Are they all the same creatures as in the original?
  • Is it easier to be a good god?
  • Or a bad one?
  • Is it as time consuming as the first?
  • Has the pet AI improved?

Thank you :surprise:

I've had B&W2 for about two weeks now and I can say it's leaps and bounds over the first one in just about every aspect. The learning curve has been shortened, so you get into the game faster. At the same time, your opponent's AI curve is relatively parallel to yours so if you're taking your time, you won't be overrun (unlike a lot of RTS games, hehe). That's not to say you can take six hour developing your character to be beefy because theirs will too.

Graphics are stellar. Creatures look a lot more bad@$$. There's now a wolf in the creature list (which I started with) but you have the tiger, the cow, and something else I can't remember as the initial starting four.

It's a good game, but yes, it'll be time-consuming. If it has the same number of levels as the first, 5, then it'll be quite a while.

It's got great graphics and is easier to play, but it still lacks something the first one had.

The creatures in BW2 don't have a personality any more. You never see them notice you and wave with a big smile on their face (I miss my ape).

In BW2 you literally tell the creature to "never eat people" and it never will, like filling in a form or something. In BW1, even after extensive training my ape would go and fart on people .

All bells and whistles, no soul.
