Version 1.8.0.9

This version should fix the problems users reported with Upload Errors and character data missing.

Hi, I didn't download .9, but I just uploaded successfully by removing the last 'square' that some programs use as a carriage return, it was the only 'square' in the entire file, as opposed to every carriage return in the whole file in previous versions.

Thank you for listening.

Upload working... talent display not

I installed the update and now it uploads without errors.

The talent tree still doesn't display correctly. One of the talent icons in each talent category does not display, but shows a generic picture icon instead. Next to that is displayed some text such as:

Next rank:
Increases the amount healed by your Holy Light spell by 8%.
')" src="http://wwndata.worldofwar.net/icon/Spell_Holy_HolyBolt.jpg">

This is so for all characters; those newly uploaded since 1.8.0.9 and those uploaded previous to the upload problem. I used both Internet Explorer 6 SP2 and Firefox 1.0.7.

I had been experiencing this same problem for some time, although on Friday (Nov. 4) morning the characters that I had uploaded previous to to the upload problem were displaying the talents OK, the only time it was OK for about a week.

Hello Mariachi,
I had the same bug but I deleted the wownetexport.lua which stores the informations (better backup it before deleting). After deletion it worked just fine for me! :)

I've got two different lua-files which get the exact same error both places. Unless there is a difference in the way data gets stored since 1.8.0.8 then I can only say that I've already tried that. But if there is a difference, then I must admit that most of the data in the lua-file comes from 1.8.0.8.

Weird... I just can say that I had the exactly same problem as you. After deletion of the lua it was fixed. Can't say more about it. :/

timeout

Mine times out every time.

I have a 2Mb ADSL line and stop every other application running so there is no network traffic, and it still times out - been this way since 1.8.0.3

After it has timed out, there is nothing to upload without logging in again - very annoying, I am sure you will agree....
