Crit %

How can i see what my crit chance is ? i have combat stats addon that calculates it but its different every time, is there a addon or something that calculates it some other way ?

open your spellbook (press p), and mouse over "attack." it should tell u your crit %.

It tell you your chance to crit with melee weapon, but not with spells. Well that what i think.. Cause every spells in the game.. got their own chance to crit. Well again that what im thinking..

i think spells have a crit chance just like regular attacks, but thats pretty irrelevant for rogues (unless u want a poison crit rogue haha). the only time spells/abilities have different crit rates is when talents affect them. like ambush and BS. with the imp talents, ambush has your normal crit +45%, while bs has your normal crit +30%.

Use the actual stats. The mouse over tooltip is almost always low. I see much higher actual crit rates on all styles (white damage too).

There's another way to find you crit % hit chance? And it's a different rate from that displayed when hovering over the attack icon?

Was referring to his CombatStats addon he indicated in his original post. You can check for combat related add-ons here and at curse-gaming for some decent combat parsers.

I'd be quite interested to know what the default poison crit chance is for rogues, I'm guessing around 1-2%. It is definetly based on "spell" crit, as you can tell when you receive the Onyxia buff your poison crits loads more.
