logout/exit hangs

Hey guys -

I did see a thread on this before but since my problem isn't exactly the same with the same variables, I thought I'd make a new one.

I'm using the latest release of Cosmos and the uploader from you guys and now my game hangs everytime. I have played the "narrow-it-down" game...and it seems to be you guys. I know I'm not the only one because someone else mentioned it on the Cosmos forum (which is why I'm over here now).

Any suggestions? I'd hate to just drop you guys.

Hi,

Probably a conflict between one of the Cosmos AddOns and our AddOn. Since I don't use Cosmos, there is no way for me to determine which one is causing it.

I also hang frequently, but only when playing for a long while, not if I just log in, check my mail, the AH, and log out again.. I have to play for a while, like today, between 11 and 17, then it hangs when I 'Exit Game' or when I 'Log out'.

So how does one uninstall WWNData?

I get the odd exit hang without cosmos or the WWN client :)

I just swap to windows and kill the WoW task, no real harm done.

(BTW, not touching Cosmos is a flying start, it's full of bugs and these days, the functions are better covered by other mods)

Since installing WWnData, i've hung every time i log out and either have to kill WoW using cntl/alt/del or, if i wait long enough, the server will log me off. This isn't occasional, it's every time since i installed wwndata, almost 2 weeks running. I pulled all my mods off and only put ones that i really wanted in (i'm not using cosmos) including wwndata (file is called wownetexport or something similar, sorry i'm at work right now) and same issue, pulled just that file and i can log out as normal.

I don't think this is a conflict so much as something in the mod that's interfering with the logout process.

It is more likely a conflict with another mod. I have never experienced this and I only have WWNdata currently installed.
