Arrow World event idea: Ceasefight Agreement

I have had this idea since long, just to elaborate it sufficiently to make it viable. The concept is simple: on a certain day (for 24 hours) the two warring factions will subscribe a temporary "ceasefight agreement", that completely disables PvP mod for that time. It would also enable you to enter cities generally hostile towards you, and interact normally with NPCs. A limited set of interactions would be also possible towards opposing faction players. The proposed event would have negative sides as well: you cannot gain honour points that day, and the Battlegrounds are closed. You will receive warnning from various NPCs yelling around, before 1 hour of ending, that the agreement will end soon. To avoid exploiting the ending, you will get teleported back to your home town 30seconds before the end, if you are found on enemy (not contested) territory at that moment. I will summarize the proposed changings once again below:

Interaction toward NPCs:
(1) You will have PvP mod temporarily disabled. This means you cannot go PvP, even if typing /PvP!!
(2) The language translator is off. This means you can temporarily "understand" orkish with alliance chars, and also common with Hordies. This extends to both playars and NPCs
(3) The opposing faction NPCs will behave "almost normal" towards you. This means you can buy and sell at them, and have conversations. You can enter all opposing faction cities unpunished, and the guards will help you, as if you were a member of that faction.
(4) You can use the opposing faction AHs!! Golden day for greedy and merchanise-focused personalities!
(5) You cannot take quests from opposing-faction-NPCs. this is in order, to avoid double-questing. (the same quests on the different side)
(6) You cannot set your heartstone to opposing cities, to avoid abusive behaviour, when the day ends.

Quests and world regions:
(1) You cannot enter battlegrounds, though you can still gain the quests into there. The quest log will simply display a Halted tag (or similar) to those quests.
(2) You cannot complete those quests, like the "Silverwing outpost" line in Ashenvale, or "The hints of a new plague?" line in Arathi/Hillsbrad, that involve killing NPCs normally unkillable for the opposing faction. The quest will be given to you, though, but, as you cannot attack the respective NPCs for that 24hours, they will display the (Halted) tag as well.
(3) Though you can enter "enemy" cities at will, you will be kicked out in the end, whenever you are found in a region not contested. You will simply be portaled out a few seonds before PvP is turned on again. This serves as a method to avoid easy leader-killings.

Interaction with other players:
(1)You can have a wide array of interactions with Opposing-faction players, like normal speech, observe, and trade.
(2) You cannot attack the opposing players, only duel them, if you wish. You can cast buffs on opposing players, as if they were friendly.
(3) You can invite opposing players to your group/raid!!! This makes a nice day to vanquish Onyxia, Nefarion, Hakkar, and Ragnaros though joint Paladin-Shaman combos. You can also learn a bit about the strength and weaknesses of the classes unavailable to you, as well (to end continuous Pala-Shammy "forum-wars")
(4) You cannot put opposing players onto your "friends" list, neither can you invite them into your guild. for that 1 day, it would really not count.

If you like this idea (and even if you don't),please, feel free to add your comments, and even extensions/modifications to it. I would be also glad, if someone, who really likes it, would put it on the official WOW forums (as my account is not active this moment, so I cannot do it)!! Thanks for reading this!

Oh, hell, this would be awesome, if only as a way to do some economy-balancing. The screams of the stupider PvPers would add some small relish to it, before they realized this was their chance to determine enemy strengths and weaknesses up close.

Seriously, Meson, you can't stop them from taking a look at org anyway. All they have to do is start a horde char on some other server and take a short walk to inspect the defenses. I know I did!

Well...you don't have to give them the keys...

If there was a ceasefire, 500 of one faction could move inside a city and wait until it was over...and kill a leader...too easy...

Ain't gonna happen.

Well, if you would read it carefully, you would easily find out that I have thought about it, and found an easy solution:
You will get warned shortly before the agreement ends, and you will be teleported out automathically , and immediately from all regions, that belong to the opposing faction (both cities and regions), lets say: 30 seconds before the event actually ends..The destination is simple: your home town (as you cannot set your heartstone to opposing cities) You should be a world-leading athlete to run back in those few seconds through whole landmasses to actually "swarm over". Please, read it carefully before commenting!!!

If you don't want pvp, don't roll it. I see no benefit to a cease-fire.

Hah. I love it.
"But this could happen!"
"If you'd read what I posted, I'd already guaranteed against it."
"...well, I don't like it anyway. So nyah."
