World of Azeroth (OOC)

As I mentioned I thought it a good idea to have a place where we could perhaps VOICE our ideas. Also it would be a good place to mention to anyone new or old coming into this area of the forum that our RP is fully up to be joined.

We need YOU
To do your bit for WoW

Good idea.

So far we're off to a relatively interesting setting. It'll be interesting to see what the book and the companion are. Keep it coming, folks.

So whats the plan?

Well a little direction in all this would set the pace along quite clearly. At the moment all the focus seems to be somewhat directed at the book. My Elf isn't going to be too bothered though, regardless of what it is or its power.

So, whats the plan here? Legions of Demons? Rifts in Space and Time? Gnomes in tutus? I could make my own sugestions as well, but I dont like to direct an RP unless I started it.

Hmm, sounds good, but unless theres a reason for these people to start talking to one another you wont have a party to begin with. There has to be a common element that draws them to one another for some reason. A common goal or quest or something.

Can I bop in? I like to RP a lot and I am pretty good at it if I do say so myself.

Oh yeah, should I post my character info here or in the actual story thread?

A quick suggestion:
I think maybe like every few pages or so in the actual thread, I think in this thread we should post the story to date and give like a quick paragraph to two paragraph summery of what has been going on so we can easily keep track of what is going on.

I can see your a VG cats fan, so I'v got no problems with you coming in ^^ though the RP is Shanda's so I'd say he has the final word.

I'm not sure it would matter weather you put your profile here or in the RP itself, as you may have noticed we'v already had some OOC comments here and there which was why I threw this up. Personally I'd say put your profile here for us to read, I may do the same with mine for reference sake.

Lastly, I agree with what you said about putting up a story to date thingy-ma-bob. Helps those who want to jump in later in the story able to be up to date without reading a short story's worth of writing.

Ok. Here goes my character Profile. I copy and pasted the template from Shanda's post in the story thread.
Name: Aeralin Sunrunner
Race: High Elf*
Age- Self-explanatory. 22
Class- Hunter*
Appearance- A short (for an Elf) skinny, young (for an Elf) female. She has Blonde hair done back in a pony tail which goes down to about her middle back, yet she leaves her bangs to cover her forehead. She has extremly bright blue eyes.
Equipment- She wears a turquoise (SP?) cape that goes down to about her waist, a leather headband, on her chest area she wears some chain mail that covers her upper torso, leaving her stomach area and arms bare (shuddup). She wears white fluffy pants with brown shoes and some solid mithral (SP?) shin-guards. She also wears a navy blue quiver on her back. In terms of weapons, she has a sword with a blue glow to the blade, and a short bow.
Backstory- After Quel'Thalas fell to the Scourge, she was one of the few High Elves who fled the destroyed land south to the near completed city of Stormwind. However after living in the city for only a couple of weeks, her parents were killed in an attack by wayward orcs on the city. Her brother, convinced to the end the Humans still had the weakness when Silvermoon pulled out of the Alliance, left Stormwind and returned the Quel'Thalas and joined the Blood Elves in rebuilding Quel'Thalas. When she heard news that Quel'Thalas had been rebuilt, and Silvermoon had joined the Horde, she hated her brother to no end and vowed to end his life and left Stormwind and became a Hunter of the wild and soon tamed a she-bear and called her Fluffles. The two have become excellent friends.

*If it doesn't fly, just say so and I will correct it.

to the main topic: There are 2 ways, both can be taken simultanously: either we go on together on a common quest, or we take the path of everyones' personal quests: that works somehow like the Baldur's Gate storylines&quests (if you have played it, you know immediately): there could be 1 or 2 main line (the common quests), and besides several personal quests as secondary.

My idea was (just for a start-up), to go after eachother's business (help eachother), and just as we are about to set sail to the other continent, we stumble upon a large-scale elemental invasion, and 'of course' our ship runs aground, so we have to discover several forgotten lands, and even the sea, before reaching safety: The rest of the storyline is still largely undecided; though I hoped to team my char up with Arcantis, the Nerubian, and set sail in direction of Undermine, to seek a Goblin ship owner, who could take us to Northrend, where epic storylines would unfold... (and at least my char's quest would continue...just being egoist a bit this time, please, excuse me...)

to Aeralin: The char is fully OK: I would be surprised the most, if Blood Elves would not have the Hunter class: after all, they had heaps of archers in WC3:TFT, using almost the same model, as Night Elves, but with blonde hair (it was kind of funny to hear them saying: "I am a night ranger", but thats due to sloppy programming work, not the concept.

We will write you "into" the story, but you can also begin it yourself, if you add an introduction page (just about how you entered the "meeting inn", since we haven't departed yet...

//Just a personal note: My char is happy to see a real High Elf, just read the biographies, and you will immediately know how to connect you char's stories with others'!!!
