For the group of alliance who pillage Tarren Mill on Destromath
When you are a level 53-60 and you attack level 20-25s 12 hours a day 7 days a week. Thats lame. Killing somone with one hit and camping their body is lame. MOCKING a Lowbie afterwards like you are some kind of MAN is lame. Why Is it one lvl 60 horde rogue shows up and WRECKS 4 out of 6 of you , re spawns and finishes the job? Clearly you need to go into PVP and learn how to compete with charactors your own level. Thats that a 30 year old man beating the crap out of a 10 year old and being proud. I just thought the WOW community should know that 6 alliance lvl 60s ( with entorage of 22-53's) have nothing better to do then spawn camp yet get completely WRECKED by one lvl 60 horde.
If you are one of the normal good alli dont take this to heart. This is not a flame. This is just a nice account of what happens daily in Tarren mills on Destro math. We quest , get bored of being completely insulted. log off , log back in ,, destroy their entire group in under 3 minutes then log back to chars. Is that really needed? Cant you just attack people near your own skill level? Is killing somone whos critical hit is 220hp REALLY that exciting when you are throwing 1 hit kills? Is killing a freshly rez'd mid to low 20's char over and over with 1 hit really that fun? Did you buy your account on ebay?
I'm an alliance, (low level =D) so I guess I know how these alliances feel.

Currently, in most servers, Horde are pretty good in PvP/Gank/Town Raid. Hence, I guess they are just pissed off at how they lost to Horde of the same level and wanted to vent their frustration ..
Or maybe for some other reason I'm not sure, but camping a person much lower level is pretty lame ..
Currently the most number of times I got ganked by a same Horde is 3 times. And after than, he waves at me, /dance and went off XP
So I'm pretty sure Alliances too have some good peeps hanging around~
Just take a break, have a cup of tea, and play few hours later~

*I've saw one lv 60 Horde (specifically Tauren Warrior) wrecking 5 lv 60 alliances .. And he's pretty good . He still died but it was sure long haha~ I always camp somewhere when there's town raid and see how people play XP*
I know how it goes man. I was trying to lvl in TM last night with a lvl 29 priest and my friend who was playing her lvl 30 shaman. We were doing the Hurculars? quests and we were in the yetti cave attempting to charge the rod. A alliance lvl ?? dwarf rogue (of course) would wait around and 1 shot us. Then of course he had /pray keybound so he would pray for you then dissapear only to do it again a couple of minutes later.
It got to the point where we would just fight monsters then as soon as he attack we would stand wave and just let him kill us. It took us 6 or 7 times of doing that before we were able to finish the quest. Needless to say i was not impressed. Not to make any blanket statements but I, and no one I know on horde does crap like this. And the once or twice when I have seen high lvl horde that is ganking lowbies I let him know that he should have more self respect and really go do something else more fitting his lvl. We each need to police our own sides.
pvp server, nuff said. means you can kill anyone anywhere anytime you feel like it as soon as they leave the starting zones.
for your other point : sure, it is lame. sure, i dont do it. sure, they must have some kind of problem in and outside the game world. but you know perfectly well that these people exist, everywhere, ergo also in WoW. Why expose yourself to the goodwill of such people by playing on a pvp server if you can choose not to ?
i kow i did it cause alot of my RL friends were playing on a pvp server, now my toon' s hit lvl 60 and i wont change any more :) but i accept the fate i gave myself in.

The thing I always do when I'm about to get ganked by a skull is do something totally weird and unexpected during the process of the gank.
For example on my ally 42 mage I was finishing up a quest in Badlands. A 60 UD rogue came up to me and started attacking me. I Nova'd, ran a bit turned around, poly'd and then started dancing with the sheep. This lasted the whole 30-some second duration of Poly. After that, the rogue just stood there and looked at me. After that she /waved and rode off :p.
Another time when I met up with a gank squad in Sithilus on my lvl 60 war. I typed /shy at the whole group. They ended up giving me a back massage for my troubles :p.

I think you completely miss the point. Maybe you are the only one that didnt notice but everyone else knows that you CAN do all those things on a pvp server. The point is that just because you can do it does not make it right does it? You CAN scam people, trick people and generally be a gerk to everyone and that does not mean that you should do it. Being on a pvp server does not mean that you want to get ganked by people 30 lvls higher then you. Nor does it mean that you should.
Most people would accept that being on a pvp server means that you want to be able to fight with the other side. And most people would accept that what that is supposed to mean is that you battle people your lvl. Sure you are going to get ganked and it sucks but I dont see anything wrong with pointing out that getting ganked by high lvl players is not the reason someone plays a pvp server. blizzard has stated many times that the only reason they have not instituted a penalty for high lvl players killing players many lvls below them is that they cannot figure out a system that would be fair in raiding. I think that makes it pretty clear that the whole "you are on a pvp server noob, accept it" is just not a valid argument. Just because they have not figured out a way to stop it yet does not mean that it is not wrong and does not mean that players on a pvp server should take a passive stance twords these actions.

That would also lead to greifing the high levels. If you and a gang of level 20's attack a high level char he couldn't kill you or he would get penalized so basically he would just have to take it and the next and the next ....
The worst experience I had on a PVP server was when I had a horde shaman (lvl 18 if i remember) exploring Stonetalon. I was jumped by a group of four alliance on mounts and quickly killed. After the first death they split in two pairs: two to camp my corpse, and two to camp the graveyard. After a number of failed attempts to escape their wrath I decided PVP servers aren't for me.
I prefer PVE servers, simply because I don't want to have to look over my shoulder all the time and I like to have some measure of control over encounters such as the one described above.

Actually, I read your whole post. And I responded to it in an indirect way so as not to embarrass you and your faulty argument but if you insist. You are arguing that I should accept it because I choose to be on a pvp server. Should I also accept that if I get shot at a Seven Eleven it is my fault because I choose to go there? I it my fault that someone ran into me because I choose to drive on the road? Yea, that is crazy. Just as crazy as you saying that it is the persons fault for getting ganked by high lvl idiots because he is on a pvp server.
