Texture modification help request
I'm modding the DS set to a red color, so far i have gotten the helm and shoulders without a hitch, but for some reason if i mod the textures in texture components wow doesn't take em . even thought i'm using the same method (blp2tga, mod colors, tga2blp (32 bits uncompressed)) am i missing something?
some how wow model viewer gets the new textures but wow displays a different texture. I've noticed that my new textures are smaller in blp form then the originals (11 kb instead of 22.4 not including helm/pads texture) after i've tga2blp'ed em could this be the cause?
anybody have any idea how to work around this? i've seen the blackdragonstalker pack so i know its possible to get em 2 work (whichs its textures seem to be the same size as the originals 2)
