so, my little 18 undead priest is running eastbound out of crossroads and I'm buffing everyone left and right, which causes me to go PvP as there are some guys flagged... I get to the the NPC I'm headed for, and turn in my centaur bracers and Verog's head (he won't miss it...). Being bored, as my groupmates are all afk grabbing drinks and stuff, I figure I'll just trot my little self up to Stonetalen and get the Sun Rock flight tie...
So.. run run run... OK, now i'm ALMOST to the border of the Barrens/Stonetalen when I suddenly come to a screeching halt and am stunned... and here is this Cute-n-Cuddly Lvl 21 Elven lass with a big sword that she is hitting me with...
Well, i'm hurting a bit.. so when the stun wears off, I scream her, cast SW:P, and take the time to bandage myself...
Well, here she comes back at me, so I smack Mind Blast on her, then bubble. while I'm bubbled, I'm explaining to her that the wand is mightier than the sword... Toss down a potion .. Mind Blast cooled off, and I quit the wand and smack it again.... and poor thing dies. Well, there goes keeping her for a pet....
Ok, I continue my journey towards Sun Rock and get the flight tie and discover that being the dolt I sometimes am, i was't smart enough to grab the quests as I ran thru at Malaka'Jin.. so I run back...
Well, near the spider canyon (the name escapes me for now) i grab the quest off the sign, and again with the stun thing... My little Elven princess is back for vengence....
Well, the end came about in nearly the same way and again, I run onward..
Just about the time that I get near the border, I am all of a sudden frozen in place and talking to fine upstanding Blizzard employee who asks me what kind of cheats I am using... None, I reply.. my only mods are Benecast and the Titan Panel.
He went on to explain that I was reported as cheating because I was not taking any damage when attacked... I went on and explained that wasn't true... the conversation went on for a minute or two, and it ended with him saying I was going to be watched, and if there were follow up complaints from anyone, then we would be speaking again and possibly banned for using hacks/cheats.
By the time the conversation was over.. I was in all honesty pretty pi$$ed off. I honestly DO NOT understand exactly what REALLY went on.. The only thing I can think of is that my little elven princess got a bit upset and reported me...
1. Why would you EVER report someone just simply because you lost? I mean, Suck it up.. you lost... it happens.. no one wins ALL the time... I regularly get my ar$e end handed to me.. im on a pvp server... its a guarantee'ed "Five Times a Day" event practically... I could fill the complaint mailbox if I whined every time I lost... I didn't even corpse camp!! I was nice.. kill, move on.. no greifing involved
2. Why would I be "Watched"?? and how would they do that? Just because I beat someone on 1v1, I get to be 'watched'?? And how are they going to know the difference between me actually playing well versus cheating??
I'm really not sure who or what really irked me the most... The fact that someone whines when they loose, or that I'm being.. 'watched'...... I guess the one thing I >>AM<< guilty of is tossing a ton of good items onto my priest.. and that is beause I have two other guys much higher level who can either find the stuff, or just buy it.... I belive that is commonly called "twinking" but I didn't know it was against any rules....
