Stuck in AB queue for all eternity...

As you might quess from the topic title I've been trying to get me som Arathi Basin action, but so far no response.

I play on the Trollbane realm (horde) and the first thing I do when logging on is placing myself in the queue and then play for hours with no response at all. One time I played for 12 hours straight (the exception rather than the norm) and not a single battle.

This has been the story for two weeks now and to be honest I'm starting to get fed up. I started queueing at lvl 28 and held from leveling above 29 til I tried it, but after a few days some folks said the action begins at 30-39.
I've now progressed to 36 and STILL no action.

What gives?
Anyone else have this experience or something similiar?

Fortunately I have not experienced a problem with AB either in the 20-29 or the 30-39. The problem is quite a few things...

1. Its a WSG weekend and more honor there instead.
2. Odd time of day so not many players queue'n into BGs.
3. Last few AB teams were wiped and humiliated so their not queue'n for a bit or switching BGs.
4. Most people think WSG is more honor/hr in comparison.
5. if youre in a team queue then not enough free slots to accomodate.

Those are just a few of the posibilities. Then again perhaps its a server issue and not many on that server like to BG. *shrug* Who knows?

We have the same problem on Draenor.

I was in the AB queue all day today from 9.30am up till an hour ago when the server crashed, and not one single game even though it is an AB weekend.

Most of the people i know or have spoke to only go into AB to grind rep, soon as they get to revered they never return. Most saying it was boring from the start, but they just wanted the nice rewards.

I tried with my lvl 48 dwarf priest on Turalyon, and had the same thing there.
I've not tried to enter while in a group, by the way...

Yeah I have a char on Nathrezim (sp?)

becuase a RL buddy has been playing there forever and he talked me into it. at any given time I log on there and do /w gulch 0 players found. In basin youll find one or two all 60 teams.

Thats one of the reasons when a new pvp server comes up i usually roll a char there. It doesnt take me long to get a level 19 hunter or rogue going and on newer realms you can almost always find a low level wsg for when you are bored of the grind and want to have some fun or your main realm goes down for a while.

check out a few realms. just roll a level 1 and /who gulch and /who basin and get an idea of what kind of BG activity there is in your normal playing time before you decide to level up a char.

also the situation n general might be improving becuase one of the announced changes for the next patch is an increase in the amount of rep given in AB and WSG. I think they used a word like 'substantial' or something. So if the change is big enough more people will have a reason to do the lowbie BGs.
