best lvl for gaining honor

I have a 19 warrior at the moment and I have been running him through WSG. To be honest i am tired of taking a tail whipping. Last night it took nearly 30 minutes to get into WSG, and when we did it was 7-10 in favor of the horde (I play alliance) and there wasn't an time where I wasn't trying to fight 2 19's solo with everyone else running around with their heads cut off.

So anyway that got me thinking, I wonder if 10-19 is the best place for honor. Keep in mind I have no interest in "farming" honor. I want to put in the time and effort to actually raise in rank.

so that leads me to ask what battleground and what level range is best for acquiring honor?

You cant get past rank 3 at that level, so while its fun to work reputation that early, the best level to work on rank and honor is late 50s, possibly 60 depending on how active the server is.

You get more rep per event, there is no rank cap, and you have the option of AV in addition to the others (AV starts at 51 to edit to respond to the below heh)

Also, from personal experience, generally, alliance seem to do horrible in lower level bgs, and finally get a clue around the 40-49 bracket, honing in the 50s, and begin dominating at 60.

Alterac Valley start at 50?
I thought it only was available to lvl 60 characters... o_Ô

I had a lot of fun playing in WSG and AB as I was leveling up. I never ever went into a battle until I was at level X5. And even then I got my butt kicked. I'd say any level ending in a 9(and 60) is a good level to gain honor, but you gain more honor for killing higher level characters. So lets say I kill a lvl 19 while I am lvl 19. I might get 15 honor for the kill. If I kill a lvl 49 while 49 I might get 100 honor.

So basically, have fun with WSG now, but dont expect to get a very high rank(yes there are honor caps at certain levels.) It might take you 3 weeks now to get to rank 3, but at lvl 50 it would take you 1.

You get a % less honor frmo less levels, i read it on the WoW site. and since the guys you kill are low ranks(from the % less honor), then youll get even less honor

60 is the best level for getting honor. Not due to my opinion, I don't PvP, but that is how the game is designed.
