One of the Mods accounts got hijacked. Dweebazoid did a lot of damage to all the forums. Admins and Mods are still trying to fix everything, but we're talking about 35.000 threads here, not exactly a stroll in the park.
Could be that he nuked it beyond recovery, could be that it'll be back in an hour or anything in between. They simply need some time to get the job done.
Side comment, it always pays to keep a spare copy of your story on your own comp or elsewhere, just in case of events like this or a complete DB malf-up. Been there, done that, learned it the hard way.
