Minimise Issue

I know it sounds kinda odd , but if I try to Minimise WoW on this machine , the top half of the screen goes all freaky and flickers like mad , but the bottom half remains normal.

not only that , the game actually refuses to minimise so i dont get back on to the desktop without ctrl + alt + del then ending program

My specs are:
Amd64 3500+
2Gb Corsair Ram
2x Asus EN7800Gtx 256mb SLI'd
Asus SLI Mainboard. (forgot the model lol)

I heard of quite some strange issues when it comes to running WoW in windowed mode, and that is aside from it eating quite a bit more processing power and RAM.

If you really need to switch back to the desktop, like for looking up stuff here or on Thottbot etc. then why don't you simply alt + tab to the open browser window?

If it's really a technical issue though then I suggest to check for driver update or if you just recently did that consider a downgrade as sometimes new drivers open up new bugs as well. Can't say how well WoW takes SLI setups but maybe disable one of the cards just to see if you can replicate the thingy with a simpler setup.

If it goes beyond that I'm out of ideas and can only suggest to contact Blizz Tech Support the number of which you'll find on the WoW site.

Good luck sorting that out.

Alt + Tab causes the same Freaky Effect.
I'll test out Disabling one of my Cards , but to be frank I didnt build a SLI rig to only use half its power :(

Will see what happens anyway.
