checking WoW patch...

Today about 17.30 hours, my latency was hughe-above 1400ms.I started playing wow 6 days ago, (Sunstrider server) and my latency was always from 50ms to 200 ms... Never was this high.Today was even 1927 ms.
Why is this happening? I noticed that , every time today, when I log on to WoW, blizzards downloader is "checking" (downloading) some file of 127mb. I thought that maybe it was hughe lag cuz of it (this preparing for 1.11 patch), but downloader finished downloading, and latency was still hughe. I don't use addons, don't have Antivirus, and didn't installed anything except WoW in last week.I tried to reboot the system, and nothing-when I enter WoW-blizzard downloader starts "checking" and latency is 1400 or above...Also I have a lot of free space on HD, and my net connection is 512kbps... I didn't have any problem with latency until today-is this cuz of me, or I should just wait??Thanks

Turn off the dowloader, should be an option for that somewhere and then try again. Latency ought to go back to normal. Oh and do get an anti-virus and scan your comp just to be sure. Just turn it off when playing WoW.
