I have a computer related problem. Need Help!

Our computer keeps getting random pop ups that are not only annoying but kick us out of the game makeing it impossible to play.

I've tried adware and virus scans but it still is happening. I can't think o anything else that would cause this? Any ideas?

thanks

Some IM programs (MSN, YIM, AIM, ect) might do this if you are logged in.

Apart from that hint there's not much I can suggest without more info. What do these popups say?

Try downloading Hijackthis and see if any advertisers are hijacking your system through a backdoor. Delete them.

But only delete those unfamiliar to you (not those associated with your antivirus, firewall etc.). You can always restore the errors you might make though.

thanks! Hopefully this works. Me and my friend always party together on WoW on the weekends since he works during the week so it sucks that this is happening right now.
