Has anyone heard of eon8? It's a website that recently popped up (I'm not sure how long ago exactly) that contains a counter with currently three hours left. That's until midnight, July 1st. The website has a lot of strange number codes scattered about, and most disturbing, a map of the world with red dots scattered about, heavily centered in developed countries.
There has been much speculation about this. A group of people on wikipedia.com have tried hacking into the site, to no avail. Upon tracing the IP adress, they found some information and google-searched it.
The results were several websites for terrorism and terrorist recruitment.
Other speculations point to a trailor for the new James Bond movie, Casino Royale, appearing when the counter is done. The company that produces those movies is EON.
