Stealthing BRD...

So I've attempted to get past the bar in BRD a number of times... and due to many reasons, my parties just don't make it. In one the fighter dind't listen when we told her not to attack the bar patrons... and that was the end there. Another it got too late...

So I've been hording dark iron ore and the tribute to learn to smelt it for MONTHS. The question I have is, can I do a stealth run down to the ghost to learn how to do it... and then get to the forge to actually smelt it?

I'm a level 60 druid (3pts FI so I stealth as a level 63). I have the shadowforge key.

I don't have the FR gear to go lava swimming, so I'll have to do depend on my nightelf druid stealthiness.

I think I could sneak into the bar w/o trouble. There's only really 1 fire elemental pat I think I might need to take out in order to extend the bridge. The rest I can sneak by.

I'm currently gathering the stuff for love potion, so opening the back door to the bar isn't a problem. Can I make it down the to dwarf ghosts? Do I need to kill them to get to the forge?

So after I posted this, I seemed to recall a thread in the druid forum about someone soloing MC attunement. I went and found this and it did cover what I was asking about
http://forums.worldofwar.net/showthread.php?t=370721

From what Havoc Jack said, it sounds like learning to smelt DI ore is simple... get to the bar, out the back sneak past flamelash and talk to the dwarf.

Getting to the forge is a different story. It sounds like Lava swimming is the only way to do that.

So lets talk about lava swimming here. Like I said above, I have crap for fire resistance. I have my seal of assention and my ony necklace.... and the coal miners boots. This gives me a total of 35... and mark of the wild for another 20. like I said, crap.

In bear form I have about 7200 armor and 5500ish or so HP (less if I'm wearing my ony necklace, since I won't be wearing my stam necklace).

I guess the real solution is to get a party together who wants to attune and don't get distracted.

Damn you BRD!!! you're like the largest non-raid instance!

Dude im a priest and I have no problem with the lava jumping.

I also have no fire resist gear.

Just make sure when you hop onto that first island not to agro all the fire elementals, if you need to pull them im pretty sure you can almost single pull them.

Easy.

Use catform + dash instead of bear.

Other than that, you'd best expect a few corpse runs.

BRD is a pain to stealth through, with the Doggies seeing through stealth and the Fire Elementals having a Fire Shield that'll kick you out of stealth if you don't resist it (which you won't with your low fire res).

Stop being so defeatist!

Start at entrance (ofc). Go through the gate on your left. Go through the gate on your right. Go through the door on your left and up the stairs (no need to open the shadowforge lock). Follow the path left towards the drawbridge. When you can't go any further, jump out of the window on your right (watch the dwarves), go down to the bottom, then turn right and go towards incendius. Kill him if you can, I hear druids are pretty good at soloing him even after he got buffed.

Just before the incendius platform, look down to your left into the lava. There should be a platform there, it's not obvious but you can stand where the lava joins the cliff. Jump down and head towards the ledge. When you get there, heal, eat, whatever.

Follow the cliff to the right, you should be able to walk along it for quite a way. Eventually you'll get to the bit underneath ambassador flamelash. There's an island in the lava full of fire elementals. Aim for the pointy bit on the island (as you look at it there's like a small corner) and swim / jump for it. Get there, stealth. Regen. Stealth around the island, run across the lava to the ramp, stealth. Regen. Go up the ramp, along the metal walkway, kill the fire elemenal, smelt your DI.

That's the way I do it as a rogue anyway. I always take a few greater fire protection potions in case I need one. If I have time tonight I'll post a couple of screenshots of the trickier bits. You can also do it by aiming for flamelash's platform, then jumping off there and heading for the island, but I find my way to be quicker.

Don't use dash, if it's anything like a rogue's sprint it only increases your speed on land, not in water. Cat form is probably best tho for quick stealthing.

Hope that helps mate.

Druids can solo Incendius, but it requires quite a hefty fire res (or simply the use of Fire Protection Pots).

Yea, jumpin into lava will require you a healing pot, if you have a fire resist pot you can take that with you. Have a priest give your +sta buff and you can test out bear or sprint, either one should work fine. Theres a cool vid of it with a rogue, but the only site I know that has it is a gold ad site, so I cant link it. google something like BRD MC stealth and Im sure you will come across it. I plan on doing it when I get my rogue to 58 or so, if I havent gotten the attunement yet.

The patrons are very easy if you know what to do. Grab some mugs/smash the kegs and throw them at them in the room on the bottom floor. you will aggro a few at a time until they are all gone. GL!

Before starting through the lava, do a Regrowth + Rejuv, and remember to jump all the time. Shouldn't be a problem.
