ok, im not quite a 60 yet and my guild isnt at th epoint where we can raid even a 20 man, but we're getting close. being the more forward thinking member i am im trying to keep up on this particular forum. i understand most of what i read here, but i've seen the term DKP used before, and have no idea what it stands for or how such a system is implemented or even how the system works.

would someone be kind enough to thoroughly explain the whole DKP concept and system to me? i gather that it is a "loot rule" of sorts, but beyond that i have no idea.

I read that link he gave you, and thats how I have my understanding of DKP. Remember that theres no perfect DKP system. It can only be tweaked to your liking.
