Ive deemed this seemingly newer phenomenon 'reverse noobage'
What I find more often than not in low level instances are players who actually have higher level toons who have instance experience. However, due to how much they say they 'pwn' on their other toon(s), they think they know everything.
This leads to people trying things they can pull off on their 'uber' toons, with a character who cant cut it. 99% of the time, they are also playing a new class, and havent bothered to learn anything about it. Thus, they end up worse than what I would consider a true 'noob' (or new player). I dont use the term noob negatively, only as one who doesnt have knowledge about the gameplay.
In some cases, this affect may also be found in people who have prior MMO experience, but new to WoW, and assuming that all MMOs play the same (which they dont, necessarily).
This phenomenon is most prevelant when a toon tries to boss another around, or attempts to lead. A lock ordering heals to his succy may be a great clue as to the presence to this phenomenon.
You can weed out potential reverse-noobs by making party decisions before stepping in the instance. Puller, Tank, Healer are a given, but a leader should be somewhat obvious (where to go, who to pull) in addition to loot rules as well.
Failure to define these points at the start of the instance makes you just as much at fault as the 'reverse-noob' or 'noob' you may encounter.
Players who experience this should take great caution, or potentially face 'high' repair costs and a large chunk of time lost.
