Low level alliance

I looked through the cartography section but I'm still unsure..

Well I was wondering if theres any instance for lvl 15 alliance. Deadmines might be a bit much for me, but is there something in a big city? Like how horde has ragefire chasm.

There is the Stockades in Stormwind, but I think thats a mid-20s instance. Its been a while since I've had an Alliance toon that level.

Yep, Deadmines (late teens to mid 20s) is the lowest, followed by Stockades (low to mid 20s).

Yup, just wait two or three levels and you'll be able to tackle Deadmines. Good luck though, Deadmines PuG's are generally quite dreadful.

Deadmines is fun when you get a warrior who's played warrior (as a tank) before...otherwise it tends to be a disaster.

But yeah, Deadmines->Stockades->Gnomer->SM->RFD->Ulda(?)->ZF :P

I just had a guy ninja about 5 greens in my VC PuG. He told us he needed them for his other chars...

So I left them to die, because I was back up healing and the other healer had 1/4th health when I left. She was getting pelted, too. Not only that, but the lock insisted that he should pull, and he declared me the healer of his Succy he was pulling with. I was only a level 18 pally, and besides the fact that he shouldn't be pulling in the first place, especially with succy, her health drops like hotcakes.

Your groups will not suck for VC if you:
1. Don't get stupid people
2. Designate who should pull aind main heal. You can decide whos going to off tank and off heal if you have the right classes for that.
3. Watch for patrols that come from behind. Once you run it 2 or three times, you'll know where patrols, commonly called pats, come from behind you at. Pats can cause 3/4ths of your whipes if you're running with tards.

Sadly people think differently at low levels and try stupid stuff.

Goodluck.

Ive deemed this seemingly newer phenomenon 'reverse noobage'

What I find more often than not in low level instances are players who actually have higher level toons who have instance experience. However, due to how much they say they 'pwn' on their other toon(s), they think they know everything.

This leads to people trying things they can pull off on their 'uber' toons, with a character who cant cut it. 99% of the time, they are also playing a new class, and havent bothered to learn anything about it. Thus, they end up worse than what I would consider a true 'noob' (or new player). I dont use the term noob negatively, only as one who doesnt have knowledge about the gameplay.

In some cases, this affect may also be found in people who have prior MMO experience, but new to WoW, and assuming that all MMOs play the same (which they dont, necessarily).

This phenomenon is most prevelant when a toon tries to boss another around, or attempts to lead. A lock ordering heals to his succy may be a great clue as to the presence to this phenomenon.

You can weed out potential reverse-noobs by making party decisions before stepping in the instance. Puller, Tank, Healer are a given, but a leader should be somewhat obvious (where to go, who to pull) in addition to loot rules as well.

Failure to define these points at the start of the instance makes you just as much at fault as the 'reverse-noob' or 'noob' you may encounter.

Players who experience this should take great caution, or potentially face 'high' repair costs and a large chunk of time lost.

I did the stockades once, and vowed not to again it simply isn't worth the effort. Same goes for gnomer.

I would do VC until you are 25ish then grind up to about 30-32 and start running SM. You can start in the GY and move all the way up to cath. A lot of people run it into their 40's.

RFD is good, it just takes so long to get started as alliance, a lot of people don't have the FP and getting a group for it was tough for me, i only ran it twice.

agreed. Then you might want to stay in SM til 42 and grind enough to do ZF after that.
