It wouldn't be practical. There are way too many servers with way too many people selling way too many items.

Imagine searching through 10 pages of "WTS" posts before you found one that had your server name.

Yuck.

Well there was rpgtraders, which iirc had an AH like layout and there were selections to restrict your searching to specific realms. But that got shut down due to lack of interest, if memory serves me.
