How does ZG rep work??

Ive only ran ZG a few times and im almost friendly atm. but i dont understand all the stuff about the bijous and coins etc.. i recently did a guild run and got 2 drops for my lock, a sash thing and something else. i was told you have to turn them in to get the item at ZG island. but where is zg island and do i need to be honored or w/e to turn them in? thanks

Alliance/Horde:
Get to STV. (Stranglethorn Vale) Hit "M" (the map button) Look all the way to the left. Yep it's the dot there.
Alliance shortcut: Go to *forgets name...The place with the Defias Guys...ride SW...find the "hidden farm" jump off the cliff and swim a bit and you are there!
Horde Shortcut...Go to BRD mountain...get on the chain...swan dive into the lava!

There ya go!

Bijous - Break them at the temple..you get rep and you get a charm. Right Click the Charm you get rep.

Coins - Combinations turn in - get said charms from above

Stuff, Gear, etc. - Find the guy with a ! over his head...talk to him.

As you gain faction/rep you get to turn in stuff to get class stuff that's cool.

That's a basic rundown. Search Zandalar on the web...you should get a result of a wiki site that can help explain it alot better.

Good luck. (you may get a poster that has more time/energy/ability to express thought in a clear an logical way that will post everything you need in explicit details...maybe even some lore...)

Umm, well, yah.

Yojamba Island is in North-West Stranglethorn Vale. As was said, it's a small island in the far NW. Alliance can get there by swimming South from Westfall; Horde can get there by riding North from Grom'gol.

Rep gain opportunities for ZG:
1. Trash gives 3-5 rep per kill, depending on the trash.
2. Bosses give 100 rep per kill, with Hakkar giving 200 (if memory serves).
3. Breaking a Bijou gives 75 rep and a token.
4. Turning in coins gives 25 rep and a token.
5. Using a token gives 50 rep.
6. Turning in the 2 or 3 quests you can receive on Yojamba Island ("A Collection of Heads"=200 rep, "A Bijou for Zanza=150 rep)

Trash rep does not stop until until you're maxed (999/1000 Exalted).

Bijous and coins are random drops throughout the instance. Bijous are broken at the altar on Yojamba Island, giving 75 rep and a token (150 rep the first time, via athe quest mentioned above).

Coins are turned in to an NPC on the island in sets of 3 (there are 9 distinct coins, for 3 sets of 3). If you have the correct 3, you can turn the set in for 25 rep and a token.

Save at least 15 tokens until you're Exalted with ZG, as there are some great shoulder enchants you can purchase for 15 tokens (one is +33 healing, not sure on the rest as, well, I'm a healer).

There are random "foo" drops in the instance for 3 pieces of your 5-piece ZG set. One foo each is used at Friendly, Honored, and Revered (Bracers, Belt, Chest for Druids). You receive a crummy amulet at Friendly, and can upgrade it at Honored, Revered, and Exalted. At Exalted it becomes the 4th piece of your set. You can also get the trinket portion of the set by killing the Alchemy bosses at least four times, once every 2 weeks (there are 4 pieces needed for the trinket, and 4 different alchemy bosses; the alchemy bosses are on a 2 week rotation, meaning Boss 1 spawns for 2 weeks, then Boss 2 for 2 weeks, etc).

Hope this helps.

It should also be said that coins and bijous can be turned into the auction house for between 3-10g per coin and 8-20g per bijou.

I destroy my bijous at the auction house alter because I'd rather have 10-20g than 75rep. 75rep can be obtained easily by a ZG run... 20g is always useful =]

I'll be doing that once I have 30 tokens (for 2 shoulder enchants, one for my Stormrage and one to save for later). 18-22g per Bijou on my server.
