Mod Suggestion for Battlegrounds

If such a thing is possible, I'd like to see a mod that would reaarange groups in BGs according to which players were near eachother. This would only work for the raid leader but you could just ask whoever was given it by default to apss it to you.

This would be partiularly helpful in AB. Again, I dont know if it would be possible to make a mod liek this but it would be so so helpful.

I doubt this is possible. I don't know that you can get absolute coordinates on your raid members, which is what you'd need in order to figure out who's close to each other.

Healer aight?

Then just don't look at the raid windows and maybe have Player Name Tags on, were the health also is shown.

Else - stick to your grp, you can see theones on your grp on the minimap.

"healers assist" somehow figures out who is within 30yds...so it would appear that distance is something you can determine.

You could also look at a good raid mod. Either EasyRaid or PerfectRaid (or both can't remember right now) will highlight the raidmember's bar based on whether or not they are in range of you. That addresses healing, but I don't think that is what the OP is after.

If I understand then what the OP wants would be very slick and nigh on impossible to do. Here is the situation. You are raid leader in AB. You start out with the 3 standard groups. 5 minutes into the raid you now have 2 people at LM, 2 at the farm, 5 at GM, 5 at BS and one lone guy running from a GY. None of the groups are actually together. Now imagine that you had a magical button that you could push and the mod would put the 2 at LM in group 1, the 2 at the farm in group 2, the 5 at the BS in group 3, the 5 at GM in group 4, and the lone straggler in group 5. After the re-arrangement, any healers have the people that they can heal in their group and on their minimap. Everyone is grouped with the people that they need to work with for their immediate tactical goals. % minutes later, the tactical situation has changed and the groups have fragmented again. No problem, just hit the magical button again and all is right with the world of grouping.

I would love a mod like this. Even if it is currently possible (which I doubt) I'm sure it wouldn't be possible in TBC.
