Rumor about EXP in BG's?

Earlier today, I heard a rumor that they're going to start giving exp for fighting in BG's. Does this have any truth to it?

Blue has said over and over and over and over again on the official forums that they have no plans to ever do this.

Although, with the new honor system, playing a twink is pointless to say the least. Before, at least you could get a title. Now, you get nothing at all for you're twinking efforts, until you level up.

you can only show the highest rank you earned prior to the patch. any twink made post patch will never earn a rank and therefore have no rank to show.

I heard that damage taken had increased dramatically. That other players now cause a considerable amount of damage and after doing 4 or 5 battlegrounds a significant repair cost would be incurred.

True?

The point of twinking was never to get honour or Rank. Indeed, the only thing Rank got me on my warrior twink was my trinket. Twinking's about fun. There's still every reason to twink that there was before, it's just that the stuff you're not getting is different. I always thought you weren't supposed to get anything for your twinking efforts, otherwise everyone would be doing it. The exception is if you intend to level that character, wherein it's so much easier to grind rep when you can significantly overpower yourself in a level bracket. Doing so guarantees new equipment upgrades every few levels.

False. Just more rumors.

You can only save up enough honor for the highest priced item. 44k I think is the current highest, for the GM/HW 2H weapons.

So yes, you could rack up points, and buy one or two peices right when you hit 60, but you'd still need to go back and keep grinding the BGs after that.

I believe it's twice the amount of the highest priced item...not the exact amount of the highest priced item. Perhaps somebody else can confirm this.
