alliance difficult to get honour?

I am a lousy player (alliance). I always lost WSG and AB. Sometimes I won AV.

But AV honour points got nerfed. Losing WSG and AB don't get honour points?

So, how alliance earn honour points? Just do AV only? To tell you the truth. I can't get enough honour points myself. But I get help from my friend Dean LOL .He helps me to get the masks and honours.

Losing BG don't get any honour points? How to calculate honour points (AV, AB and WSG)?

Im fair to middleing at playing a caster in BG's
and I think the worst in the history of WoW at playing a warrior as I cannot get round all the jumping, turning and running round in circles they all do.

But you do get bonus Honor in AB if you loose, just depends on how many rescources you pick up.

WSG is good on the special weekends when you get bonus honour for loosing

If you want honour play a rogue and just stealth in the middle ground in WSG and pick up those kills, occassionaly stabbing up the low health mage or druid.

just keep on doing them and honour will soon stack up.

But most of all do it for the fun. I know I'm never going to be the best WoW PvPer or build the ultimate twinked rogue.

I'm currently playing a 32nd druid in WSG/AB and I get ganked all the time.
I just carry on and heal the others while they take me down. By that time I'm normally out of mana and dieing means I get it all back

you get honor in AB by holding resporces, not by winning...Just hold them, and the bonus honor comes...Of course, you also get honor by killing things.

In AV, you get nearly the same thing, but it is from taking objectives...Towers, etc.

In WSG, return their flag...

Unless you can 5 cap every AB and run 3 flags within 15 minutes in WSG, AV is much nicer for honor.

Not when AV takes over an hour to play. Last night I entered into a Turtle from the very beginning...and didn't want to leave because I wanted my mark/s. As horde, we don't win much, but seemed to have the advantage the whole time, until the very end when we gave up on defense just to let the AF win. Almost a 400 kill game, but I'm sure many of those were repeat kills. I'm not positive, but if the new system is like the old one, then many of those kills were not worth any honor.

Play AV for HK's. Play WSG for bonus. AB is somewhere in between. The turtle strat in AV is actually REALLY good for HK's. Yes, AV can take FOREVER to complete when compared to the other two but if you have a good defense going, you can net a mountain of kills.

As for honor over time, I think AB is the best one. Competitive games can last 30 mins. The bonus structure in AB is good too. Your bonus is determined by the number of resources your team has collected at the end of the game. So if you lose 2000/1990, you will get almost as much honor as the winning team. This is on top of HK's gained when you're near a kill (HK's are shared within the raid like exp is shared in a raid - except there is no raid penalty for HK's).

I afk out of AV if nobody wins within 25 minutes.

In 25 minutes if everything goes right you should have at least 200 honor from killing NPC. Even if you win after that, you get extra 40-80 honor. Not worth it.

the HK's will just roll in the hunters ive seen play are always at top for HK's.
