I play mostly on the Horde side when it comes to PvP at the moment. However, when I do play on Alliance side, I don't see nearly as many pre-made groups.
Most of these pre-mades seem to be raiding groups and you have many more of them on the Alliance side.
Yes, between being unfair in some cases to Horde with a losing mentality, it isn't fun. I usually queue for AV and AB and go to AV when it looks like a pre-made. I used to stay and see how it went but all too often people just say let them win and they do nothing so you basically get overrun by the other side. It's not fun. On the other hand, I used to get more PUG groups that would actually try and we've beaten some of the pre-mades. People always assume that the pre-mades are good PvPers and they often aren't that great. Many seems to rely on gear instead of skill.
As far as I can tell, no, the system isn't matching up pre-made to pre-made. If it is then it hasn't affected how often you get Horde PUG vs Alliance pre-made. I do think the time of day may affect the percentage of PUG vs. pre-mades that you'll find.
