I am a newbie, currently at level 7.
I need to get my hammer repaired by a merchant, but have no idea how.
It doesn't seem to be covered anywhere.
Could someone give me a click-by-click way of what to do, please?
Much appreciated...

FInd a weapon/armor dealer (or even a blacksmith supplier) and talk to him. Browse his goods. In the bottom middle of the page there will be an anvil loking icon that says "Repair all equipment" Click it.

:)

For the items in the bags, click the hammer (I think) symbol - next to the anvil one, then right click the item(s) to be repaired. The anvil only repairs stuff that you are currently equipped. Sometimes you can't sell damaged items from your bags so you need to repair them first then use the hammer in this case.

If you need to repair a single item you click on the...I think it's a hammer, icon that's next to the anvil one. After you click it, you move the mouse over to the item you want repaired and click that.
Clicking the anvil icon fixes everything you have equipped (armor, weapons) at once but I don't think it fixes something in one of your bags. I could be wrong about that though. Never tested it that way. I have used the hammer icon to fix indevidual items in my bags that I meant to sell at the AH. (You have to fix em before you can sell them there).

Yep. Clicking the anvil repairs EVERYTHING you have (including bags).

You may have found out by now, but just in case:

To repair, you must talk to a vendor, though not all vendors actually repairs. Any vendor that sells weapons or armour will repair. If the buy screen doesn't come up right away, there will be an option to buy wares from this vendor.

One you have the buy window up, you'll see a number of items the vendor has for sale. Along the bottom of the window will be a little icon of an anvil. Hover over this, and you will see the cost to repair all your equipment. Click upon it and you're all fixed up!

If the icon is greyed out, it means you have nothing to repair.

Remember that each time you die, the equipment you're wearing suffers a 10% durablility loss. If you resurrect with a spirit healer at a graveyard, then _all_ your equipment suffers a 25% durability loss. So only do that if you feel you have no choice, it will get mighty expensive! Usually it's much more cost effective to run back to your corpse and resurrect there.

Hope that helps!
