100% new player here, hi all!

just got the game and I have some questions, first off are trainers the onlyway to build up your skills?

Also can you max skills if so what level do they go up too?

Also i can log on o the wow forums but it says i have no available character, any idea on why that is? or how to fix this?

I have more, alot more but for now this is ok.

/wave Hello xagros! Welcome.

Weapon Skills / Defense Skill scale with level and are trained through use. Figure on 5 points per character level + any racial bonus.

Additional abilities (skills) are only obtainable from trainers on every even numbered level (2,4,6,etc.)

Profession skills have a minimum level requirement for certain skill levels.
Those you learn from trainers and skill books, but you still need to train the recipes as you advance your skill by using the profession.

The WoW forums sometimes takes a while to scan the servers. Give it a while before you try again and in the meantime - come here!

Whilst I have never played a Druid, typically what happens is that you are given a certain rank in a skill when you first buy it. For example, as a Paladin you get Holy Light Rank 1 at level 1. That heals 39-47 damage for 35 mana.

As you go up in levels you get the ability to train (Through trainers) more advanced ranks. This is determined by your level. Holy Light Rank 2 becomes available at level 6 and then heals 76-90 for 60 mana.

Rank 3 becomes available at level 14 and so on and so forth up to a maximum of rank 11 which becomes trainable at level 70.

You do however get skill books at later stages which circumvent the trainers. I've not encountered one yet (Apart from buying and reselling them for profit ) so I don't know how they function in-game, apologies.

You can learn any number of skills available to your class that you can afford. Training costs money for those skills. The cost increases as you go up in levels.

Back to the original question though - I did a search for you on Wrath.

It is a trainable skill that goes up to Rank 11. You can only get Rank 11 Wrath when you are level 69. It is trainable at 1, 6, 14, 22, 30, 38, 46, 54, 61 and 69 for the last rank. Damage scales with the skill itself. There is a basic amount done at each trainable rank. The way to increase that is through gear that gives you +damage to spells or +nature damage to spells.

All the trainable spells work similar to that - the levels and ranks and so on differ based on what spell it is. You train ranks at trainers as they become available to you at that level. The damage is fixed per level but can be increased through (sometimes)talents, gear and consumables.

I'm not really sure how else to try and answer that question though. What about it seems unclear?

You can learn all the skills once you meet the required level (if you have the money to pay for them). You might be confusing skills with talent points, where you can only use 1 per level, starting at level 10.
