How do I train gun proficiency

Hi all,

I just started playing a Dwarf warrior. On my way to Kharanos I see a npc that sell's guns but I dont have proficency to use them yet. Can someone tell me how I learn this proficiency?

Go to a guard and ask where the weapon trainer is...Then ask the weapon trainer...

The wep trainer will either be able to train it for you, or will tell you where the other wep trainers are that can train different weapon skills.

Notes: Buliwyf, the dwarven weapon master at the Timberline Arms in IronForge, teaches fist weapons, guns, one and two-handed axes and one and two-handed maces.

Woo Ping <Weapon Master>
Level 50 (Elite) Humanoid
Found in Zones:
City of Stormwind
Notes: Woo Ping, the human weapon master at Weller's Arsenal in Stormwind, teaches crossbow, daggers, one and two-handed swords, polearms and staff.

Level 50 (Elite) Humanoid
Found in Zones:
City of Ironforge
Notes: Bixi Wobblebonk, the gnome weapon master at the Timberline Arms in Ironforge, teaches crossbow, daggers and throwing weapons.

Ilyenia Moonfire <Weapon Master>
Level 50 (Elite) Humanoid
Found in Zones:
City of Darnassus
Notes: Ilyenia Moonfire, the night elf weapon master, resides at the Warrior's Terrace in Darnassus where she teaches bow, daggers, fist weapons, staff and throwing weapons

Notes: Sayoc trains Bows, Daggers, Fist Weapons, One and Two-Handed Axes, and Thrown weapons. Each skill costs 10 silver.

Ansekhwa <Weapon Master>

Found in Zones:
Thunder Bluff
Notes: He trains in Guns, Staves, one- and two-handed maces.

Archibald <Weapon Master>
Level 47 to 50 (Elite) Humanoid
Found in Zones:
The Undercity
Notes: Trains crossbows, daggers, 1h sword, 2h sword, and polearms.
That ought to be enough info.

That will come in handy.
wel i got gun now, but how do I switch my axe to my gun? Is there a hot key for this?

You should just have a shoot button in your spell book. Put this on your bar and press it when you want to use your gun, it will auto switch between the two along as you have it equiped on your char screen.

Just to emphasise this point! Make sure you drag the Shoot ability from your spell book (P) and not the actual gun from your character screen!
