I been playing this game from a trial key I got from a friend. Now that I like the game i'm thinking about buying it. But was wondering if I buy the game will I be able to access my character that I'm currently playing on the trial key?

Yup, your account information stays the same. Just buy the game, login, go to "manage my account" or whatever in the lower left corner and choose to upgrade your account or enter a real key. I forget the exact thing, but it's pretty intuitive. The upgrade should be instantaneous, or at least it was for me. After that, it should be all good.
