Thinking of gettin Wow

Hey guys ive recently been thinking of buyin Wow, However i was just wondering about a couple of things:

a. Is there a lag problem? I live in australia and In games like guild wars/rakion I have found it annoying to play with other US players, or is the lag un noticable?

b. Does warcraft require a powerful graphics card?

c. If I do end up buyin wow any recomendations of what to start with? I am a fan of the night elf in warcraft 3 xD.

1. Lag problems are more often coming from your own system rather than the game server. The major "market squares" in some of the cities tend to be laggy due to the mass of people standing around in there, although this has become much less of an issue now that outland has drawn away all the idling max level players.

2. Used to run fine on my old Radeon 9200SE. Looks much better with my current video card though.

3. My first character was I night elf druid due to the same reason you give there. And I still play her as my main.

If you have 50 Euros for original, 50 for TBC, 20 for Visa Virtuon that lasts 6 months and 13 Euros every month, welcome!

You don't need to by TBC to start with :)

You can get a 10 day free trial. Game cost me £10 (about $20 US), first month free. Not that expensive to get to play for 40 days to see what you reckon.

Not sure if its the same in Aussie, but in america here many game stores have 5$ (USD) trail games cd's near the registers...they come with a free pass and a key to get you started, that might be a good option
