? On Battle Axe

I'm relatively new to WoW. I'm a level 23 Human Warrior, and I recently acquired a 2 handed Massive Battle Axe of the Eagle. I went to ironforge and trained up on all 2 handed weapons. (I am at about level 100 on my 2 handed Axe skill) Now when I try to use it against equivalent level enemies, it hits 1/3 to 1/2 the time, and not always within the damage range. do I just have to keep practicing with the thing, or is it a bad weapon choice for a Warrior?

As long as your skill with the weapon is low, you will be hitting the mob as if you were a low level char. All you have to do is level the skill up to get the maximum damage from it. The easiest way to do this is find some mobs that you can practice on for a long time, best is some elites that dont damage yourself much, a handfull of levels below you maybe. If you buff yourself with intellect, you will train your skill faster.

hehe didn't know that

Just go out and hit lower level things repeatedly and your weapon skill will go up... easy
