Hey all. This is my first post at this site, and, actually, also my first
real fan fic.
Its the (Almost) authentic story of how my warrior (Rauckow currently lv 7) defeated Hogger.
(Oh, and the illustration is done by myself)
Battling Hogger
”Gather ’round, lads… Im gonna tell this story only once. The story of how I got this scar.”
It was a sunny day, the day I was sent to the Westbrook garrison.
Well, not only me, but also my two friends, Saitam, or “elder”, and Trini.
As we arrived, weary from travelling, and adventure, we discovered a wanted poster.
Hogger, it said.
As we where contemplating if we could take the ‘bugger’, a tall figure approached.
“Goin’ for Hogger, are ya?” It said.
It was a Night Elf… One of them Druids. What he was doin’ in Elwynn, I have no idea of, but we invited him to join our group.
As we headed for the Forest’s edge, a dwarf joined us. From the colour of his clothes, a priest I guessed.
While we searched for the big guy, or gnoll, we where ambushed by several of what must have been his minions.
They where despatched without any major trouble.
As we drove still deeper into the forest, I slacked a little behind, waiting for our “elder” to get to his senses, having been knocked out in one of the ambushes.
Suddenly, I heard battle ahead.
The clash of swords, and the baying of gnolls.
As I ran up to aid my fellow adventurers, more ambushers appeared.
We where outnumbered, 5 against 8.
Yet still, we fought on, refusing to give away and run.
At the battles height, Hogger appeared, storming out of the woods, to help his brethren.
As I saw him approaching, I called out to him, I challenged the beast.
Stepping up in front of him, I blocked his first blow, and answered with a quick backhand blow from my enchanted Tomahawk.
I hit him, but he just shrugged, and renewed his assault.
Beating down upon my shield, I felt the incredible strength the creature possessed, he beat aside my shield, flinging it away with a single hit from his rusty axe.
His next attack hit me hard, a clean backhand blow with his axe butt, knocking me out.
Before the darkness engulfed me, I saw the druid‘s gore covered two-hand axe bringing down on the beast’s head, splitting it and shattering brain and gore over all over the area.
When I later came to myself, the druid was gone, and the four of us made back to westbrook, taking with us Hoggers clawm and the message of his dead.
