A question (Not a story yet)

I've recently hooked up with a very good RP guild. They have an incredible backstory and part of me wants to begin writing again. The story muscles are very rusty though and my grammar ... well ... 10 years of programming tends to distort it a little.

Of course, I have the same fears that everyone has - of criticism and acceptance and so forth - but I think I'm also brave enough to weather that. My question is this:

If I were to tell Tasharin's tale, would it best be told on the blogging system or here on the Fan Fiction forum?

That depends on whether you want it to be in journal format, or if you're comfortable converting your playtime into story format.

Well, I've started by putting up Discordant Dreams as an introduction. The blogging system seems intuitive and well suited to it, once I can figure out how the categories work. The trick would be getting people to read it and comment on how to improve it

I'm not sure how the mods/admins would take it, but you could PM them about the idea of posting it in the blog system (with the proper category selected, of course), and start a thread here in the fan fic forum, adding a new post to the forum thread with a link to the blog.

It wouldn't be spam, per se, but you may be able to work it out with them, as it is related to fan fiction.

Hmm. Well, since role-playing is a definite part of WoW for a number of players, I can't see why blogging your character's story would be a bad thing. However, posting it here in the fan fic forum as well couldn't hurt. After all, most people come looking for stories here (and some people even give good feedback). Hmm. I'm sorry- I haven't given you a very good answer.
