beta site layout - issues with searching

tried to do several searches from the search box on the top of every page, but in order to get any results i have to type in full words of whatever mod i'm trying to find.. which is fine if i know what i'm searching for exactly but if i'm looking for say a mod for recipe and know there are several mods that start or contain the word recipe in the name .. if i type just recipe.. i get "recipe radar" but not recipebook or recipeknown..

so i decided to check recipe radar .. see if it would at least give an option to browse the category that mod was in, and there was no listing anywhere that i saw for what category it would be in which makes trying to search for particular types of mods even more difficult because i'd need to know beforehand what it would be categorized as or browse thru each category til i find it.. its making even just re-bookmarking all the mods i often downloaded from here more of a chore then it should be

while i'd be happy just having the ability to do a search which gives me results of any mod that contains in its name part of the word i type, it would be even better if there was an option to search the descriptions as well
