For all of those who do not like the new “look” of this site, and are all upset at it, please remember a few things:
1) This is still being worked on based upon YOUR suggestions. So instead of throwing out that you do not like it etc. Tell the admins WHAT you do not like about it. They cannot make this site better for us if all you do is cry about the site.
2) When you first started using the “old” site, it took you some time to get used to it. ALL sites take time to get used to it. Give it time, maneuver around and WAIT for them to make the changes they say they will do and your suggestions. This is only a day old, cut some slack.
3) It takes time to perfect a new website. Don’t come jumping on here screaming that you want the old one back. It is gone, poof, no more. Give this time please, TELL the developers what you like to see or what is missing and then sit back and give them time to implement it.
As one website designer to another, I think you guys did a wonderful job here. Most of the suggestions I have are already posted so none to add in here.
Thank you for taking the time out to improve on what you guys had and for putting up with those who have snapped at a judgment before giving anything time to prove itself.
I for one think this is a vast improvement, both visual and functional. Few things that need to be worked on (which you already know) then it will be to the liking of many.
Thanks Laduca, very good post and spot on! We are working through everything as quick as we can and most of the things peopel say are missing from theold site are coming back. It was important to us that we go the basics just right first and that is what we have been working on. Now we are onto the fun part :)
Agree wholeheartedly. Does not good to complain without offering solutions as well. In our company it's become a mantra - you're not allowed to criticize anything unless you are offering at least one alternative solution as well (3 is preferable).
However, I quite like the new site. It seems fairly friendly. I might just flip away from WowAce and start using this one a bit more regularly. It does seem a tad faster and tidier than the old one.
A query though - some mods are not available here. I know the authors have no intention of managing the mods across several sites. Would it be considered bad to have the mods on here, but via a link to sites that are known to have no gold trading / other affinity? Scrape the updates from the other sites, etc. That way one could use this as a one-stop shop - which would be lovely.

These sorts of posts are exactly the ones we are not looking for at this stage of development. What I take particular offense to is your accusation of daily trojans. I am not sure what other sites you are surfing but you didn't get them here so you're treading on very thin ice with comments like that. Perhaps you should check your virus/internet security system you are using.
Regarding feedback. The proof is in the pudding. Suggestions made by memebers since the launch of the new site have been impleneted and are still being implemented so clearly it is not pointless.
Agreed. Gorramit, if you have such issues, just don't use the site. Your soapbox speech of "your site sucks" solves nothing, and quite frankly you just wasted your time posting it. Get off your pedastal and get over yourself. Any and all your opinions at this point will be promptly dismissed due to your inability to offer constructive criticism, rudeness and sheer arrogance in thinking you have any sort of authority to be an asshole to these guys just cause you don't like it.
Really, you're not that important. You won't be missed.
