No alerts

Hey.
I seem to have a problem with alerts, or more specificly, I don't seem to get any alerts at all. In my profile, I have checked both "E-mail me whenever I get an alert" and "Alert me when my mods recieve a comment", but it doesn't work. I don't get any emails, and when I go to the alerts page it is empty. The button even says "Alerts (0)".

I have also noticed that on other addon authors profiles it says something like "this guy has a pal-subscription because he/she is an addon author", but on my profile it just says that I don't have a subscription, and I can pay to get one. Perhaps the system somehow doesn't recognize me as an author, and therefore I don't get any alerts?

I haven't uploaded any new addons since the new site, but I have updated my addon just a few days ago, but it didn't do any difference. Some help or information would be nice.

Alerts in the profile are different from Email alerts.

Alerts on the button are things users are alerting you to on your mod page. The two are different. Perhaps we should word that differently :) Amthea will be upping an updated method for these direct mod alerts soon.

The subs stuff is not quite finalised. The problem with the previous system was that authors could get lifetime subs and then stop updating their mods which seems compltely unfair for those supporting the site who were updating their mods. We are looking at a way to handle this if it is at all possible.

Okay, but still, I can't see that you said anything about the missing emails, which was my main issue ;) As far as I've understood from others, getting an email when a comment has been made is possible now, am I right?
