Problems/Suggestions with Favourites

So, first the problem.

When I hit install or update, the client runs, installs the software, and generally works perfectly. The Favourites page does not, however, record that I downloaded it and doesn't update the date/time that I did it. Therefore I have no real way to keep track of what I have installed and when. I am using IE 7 and Vista.

And the suggestion:

An install all/update all button which allows all favourites to be updated easily.

-Hawke

ps. Love the site.

I get the same error as Hawke (IE 7 & WinXP).

as for the suggestion, a update/install selected mods would be great.

I click "update" in the favs page, it updates (i checked, the files are new), but it doesn't update the fact that I've downloaded the files.

Firefox 2.0.0.7
WinXP (current service packs)

Favourites have to be tagged as favourites. Installing amod does not set it as a favourite if using the quick install with the WoWUI client. If every mod you installed did get added to your favs list it would make the idea of the favs list defunct.

Rushster, for me it is about the mods in my favorite list.
I do not use the WoWUI client, I just use the one click install on this site.

I go to my favorite list, click 'Install this mod' (or update this mod) and the installer pops up, downloads, installs, everything works great.

However, when I go back to look at my favorite list, the list still says 'you have not installed this mod yet'. No matter if I refresh, come back next day etc, it does not record that I have downloaded the favorite.

thanks!

(IE 7 on XP)

ok, I just wanted to add a more complete walkthrough of the problem.

I went to my favorites page and cleared my DL history with the button at the bottom, just to make sure. I also downloaded the latests 1-click client installer.

I then hit the install button on one of the mods on my favorite page. It installed fine, and I went and shift-refreshed the page. The mod still showed that I had never downloaded it.

I went to page of a mod on my favorites list, and hit the 1click install. It installed fine, and I wend back to the favorite page. Still no change, all the mods showed that I never downloaded them.

I then went to a page for another mod on my favorite page, and hit the download button to download the .zip file. The file downloaded, and after I went back to my favorite page, the mod was listed as not downloaded.

So it seems that the 1-click download does not register that a favorite is downloaded.

Since I am not the only one that is reporting this :), I was wondering if you could clarify if this is the intended behaviour or not?

thank you! Still love the new site!

Favourites not updating

Just to bump this one. I am in the same boat. If I go to my favourites page, and choose the "Install" option, it does not update the fact I have downloaded it, so keeping track of what I have updated is not easy if I use the Install option, which is a shame because its a nice feature

Just wondering if there is an update to this. I use Firefox (latest and greatest) and have the same issue with the favorites not updating.
