Water as of 2.4 (ptr)

I copied my mage to PTR on Teusday, started playing got invited to a Magister's Terrace party in about 10 minutes and started.

During the instance after a couple of encounters I noticed not all the time I used water I regenerated more then the mp5 I got of myself. I know they changed it so that first tick gives 0% bonus but I waited for the full duration (of manabiscuits and normal max rank water) and I just had my own regen nothing more.

I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing this.

From what I've gathered from the Official forums that they are toying with making the effects of drinking ramp up over time rather then the constant xxx regen per sec you get now.

Yeah... but the problem is it sometimes doesn't regen anything at all... no mana gained from the water.
