The New Plague...

The Plague that is currently on the live realms, which most of us have seen, is now in a stronger form and also can be found in all main cities.

1. It is MUCH harder to dispel. (Takes around 7 times or so.)
2. It's now attached to lots of critters that will spread it.
3. Crates are now in all major cities.

Who knows what it will be like tomorrow, could be up to 20 times you have to try to dispel it, attached to all Plagueland areas and Undead across the world, and soon could try to grasp Argent Dawn people even... We'll see tomorrow.

great - more frustration to deal with. Don't understand why everyone is so positive about this plague nonsense.

It's a pain in the neck when you're not remotely interested in this stuff, and are just trying to get through a town (Southshore, for instance) to turn in some quests.

I don't see why people are freaking out so much over it. If you don't like it, don't log on for a few days, or do quests in another area, it's not like you can ONLY do quests in a tiny area.

Don't think anyone's freaking out about it. Most of us that dislike it find the most annoying part to be that we're included and involved in it whether we want to be or not. It's easy to avoid Brewfest or the Winterveil thing; why not be able to be uninvolved in this one too?

It'd be a pretty crappy world event if it affected absolutely no one.

How many world events has WoW had that ever affected the world? It'll be a couple weeks tops. The Argent dispel it easily (so far). And Zombies are very slow moving.

Because Brewfest or Winterveil is not an invasion by the scourge.

I guess with hindsight that Blizz could have made an item or potion that can counteract it for those that didn't wish to involve themselves. The "Cloak of Anti-Scourge" or the "Elixir of Zombieness Dispell" :D

Trying to get to grips with this strange concept - so far ...... nothing.

Is this really only confined to a small area? I don't think so. Or, if you let me know where it's safe from this, I'd be very grateful.

I'm gunna have some fun being a zombie tbg - just go with the flow until the story pans out a bit.

The plague will probably get a lot worse, although i think this is all leading up to something major before WOTLK is released.

Destroyed Orgrimmar / Stormwind anyone?

I just dont understand how people can have an issue with an event like this.

There is a story behind everything that is done in game. The reason why certain races are part of the horde or alliance. Every quest draws from the history of the game. Why would you not be a part of that?

This game is always growing and changing. Adding skills, changing abilities, add content. The game is "alive". It is constantly evolving. In a few weeks a new expansion is going to be added to the game. Some people can say its just content but in reality it is a huge part of the lore of the game. Being able to follow in Arthas' footprints in Northrend.

The fact that this event is drawing off the lore and giving you a chance to take part in such a big part of the history of the game is awesome. I would get really tired if I played a game that never changed, never evolved and never challenged me.
