Just got WOW.

Hi everyone, just got WOW and installed it but it says i need todo a 1.9gb update and i don't always have my pc off, so i turned my pc off at 10% update and i came back later and the download started again, is there anyway i can download the patch manually and be able to resume the download?

there are patch mirror sites where you can download the patch. also, if you have a friend who plays wow, you can copy is patch files and put it in yours. WoW will automatically check and install those patches.

I'm surprised the patch restarted from the beginning....Mine typically starts from the end of where I was when I shut the comp off...

In any case, fileplanet and other places have the patches stored for third party download.

When you use the WOW launcher, your current version is in the upper left corner of the launcher window.

And, 3.0.8 is the latest....So, you need everything from your current version to 3.0.8.
