Akil'zon

Introduction

Akil'zon is one of the bosses in the dungeon Zul'Aman. Players can choose to fight him after Nalorakk, the Bear God. Akil'zon is the Eagle God, so appears with an eagle head and legs. During the fight, Akil'zon summons eagles to aid him.

The Fight

During the fight, melee should focus on Akil'zon while ranged should take out the Amani Eagles that spawn.

The raid should keep fairly spread out due to the ability that Akil'zon uses, Static Disruption, which works a bit like Chain Lightning, with the added debuff that increases Nature Damage taken. However, don't spread too far because every 45-60 seconds, Akil'zon will cast Electrical Storm on a random group member, which causes periodic damage to everyone not within the eye of the storm (eg. not standing with the afflicted group member).

Akil'zon has several abilities, which he uses depending on his form at the time. Below is a table showing the special abilities that are used:

Electrical Storm	~	Puts a target in the Eye of the Storm, causing massive periodic damage to everyone else not in the Eye of the Storm
Gust of Wind	Half the target's total Hitpoits	Throws a target into the air, dealing half the target's total hitpoints in damage when they land.
Static Disruption	3.5k	Hits anyone within 12 yards of the original target with 3.5k damage and anyone within 10 yards with a debuff that increases Nature damage taken by 25% for 20 seconds.
Summon Amani Eagle	1.7k - 2k	Akil'zon summons eagles that will swoop and cause damage to the targets. Ranged DPS should kill these as soon as possible.
