An High Elven Ranger. Sister of Sylvanas Windrunner and Vereesa Windrunner. At some point had a romantic relation with Turalyon, which produced the Half Elven boy, Arator.

Served with the Alliance during the Second War, Alleria lost her family when the Horde attacked Quel'thalas. As a result, Alleria led a group of other Rangers in an effort to track down and destroy the only Orcs that remained undefeated, primarily the Bleeding Hollow Clan.

As Ner'zhul sent orcs back into Azeroth from Draenor to gather the magical artefacts he would need to open more Portals. Alleria accompanied Khadgar, Danath, Turalyon, Kurdran and Sky'rie through the Dark Portal in an effort to end the threat of the Horde for good. She helped to combat Deathwing, and aided in defending Khadgar while he closed to the Dark Portal into Azeroth. Whether or not Alleria survived remains to be seen. All the original leaders of the expedition except for Alleria an Tyralion have been found with the reopening of the portal.
