History

The main fortress of the Bleeding Hollow clan on Draenor. A large army was sent from here to attack the Alliance base on the Hellfire Peninsula, but Alliance forces under the leadership of Turalyon and Danath destroyed the fortress, forcing the army to retreat.

Lore

It was once a holy ground for Draenei burial until a group of renegade Orcs botched an attempt to summon a demon in its walls. The resulting magical disaster nearly destroyed the entire area. Its crypt-filled interior looks quite haunting.

Spirit Shards

Instancing in Auchindoun will give you chance to obtain [Spirit Shards]. For Alliance you can exchange them for various items at Spirit Sage Zran NPC in Alerian Stronghold.

• Each instance entrance has population of some NPCs - quest givers and vendors are available
• Upper Outer Ring of Auchindon is currently empty (with one exception), in earlier beta it was populated with hostile ethereals.
• On South of Auchindoun, just in upper outer ring, Levixus The Soul Caller (lvl 66 Demon, Elite) is available (quest target).
• Meeting stone is in middle of Ring of Observance (lower inside ring)
• Shadow Labyrinth Key drops in Setthek Halls from Talon King Ikiss
